if you find yourself wandering a down slope of madrone and oaks on a hot summer day— you might get to witness the spontaneous combustion-like moment of the madrones “peeling”! it is amazing!!!

hoo koo e koo is my favorite trail. she winds around the middle of mount tamalpais and you will know when you have arrived. the trees— buckeye, bay, oak, redwoods, down slope or up slope they hold it all together for us i swear. they are having a hard time these days…i think it is their nervous systems—like ours— are challenged at this time. they could use some connection, some real lovin. so say hi next time. you will notice they notice, you. feel the love.
