a review: The Kin Of Ata Are Waiting For You by Dorothy Bryant is a book that everyone should have the opportunity to read. This book is top of the list, it makes a connection within you. It is in so many ways an inspiration and a guide to follow. It will bring you back to the way things used to be, before people tried to create a dream without having that dream. It’s a book about our culture and how it came to be and what our true nature is. The kin of Ata, a type of people, are waiting for you to realize that the reality is not here, it is there, their way of life. It’s a book about transformation and awakening. It’s described on the back of the book as, “the struggle of the human spirit to know and become itself.” The book is easy to read and keeps your interest throughout. http://www.amazon.com/Kin-Ata-Are-Waiting-You/product-reviews/0679778438/ref=dp_top_cm_cr_acr_txt?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1

Bows and flows of angel hair and ice cream castles in the air
And feather canyons everywhere, I’ve looked at clouds that way
But now they only block the sun they rain and snow on everyone
So many things I would have done, but clouds got in my way
I’ve looked at clouds from both sides now
From up and down and still somehow
It’s cloud’s illusions I recall
I really don’t know clouds at all
Moons and Junes and ferris wheels the dizzy dancing way you feel
As every fairy tale comes real, I’ve looked at love that way
But now it’s just another show, you leave ’em laughin when you go
And if you care don’t let them know, don’t give yourself away
I’ve looked at love from both sides now
From give and take and still somehow
It’s love’s illusions I recall
I really don’t know love at all
Tears and fears and feeling proud, to say, “I love you” right out loud
Dreams and schemes and circus crowds, I’ve looked at life that way
But now old friends are acting strange they shake their heads, they say
I’ve changed
But something’s lost but something’s gained in living every day
I’ve looked at life from both sides now
From win and lose and still somehow
It’s life’s illusions I recall
I really don’t know life at all

mystery — (part two)
the iphone camera relationship allows mystery— this is especially wonderful…you never ever know who will show up as you wander through nature…usually it will be exactly who you really need to be there with you at the time for a lovely healing you never expected or even thought you needed…and lots of times i don’t even see who was really there until i get home to my laptop and download my new friends…and finally SEE, oh it was YOU!!!
soo much gratitude tends to flow in in these moments, flowing creativity, connection, love!

iphone photography — spaciousness. (part one )
shooting with my iphone, i have to wait a minute or so before i can immediately take another shot because i have over 5,000 photos slowing things down…this handicap, has sort of created art form… a forced meditation between shots allows for contemplative moment, space and change of light… blurry.
with a real camera i am shooting so quickly nonstop…no sense of waiting, less anticipatory. less allowing.

“Seafood is simply a socially acceptable form of bush meat. We condemn Africans for hunting monkeys and mammalian and bird species from the jungle yet the developed world thinks nothing of hauling in magnificent wild creatures like swordfish, tuna, halibut, shark, and salmon for our meals. The fact is that the global slaughter of marine wildlife is simply the largest massacre of wildlife on the planet.” —Paul Watson
